OUR MISSION IS TO

12 YEARS! Amazing things have occurred and been accomplished since the ministry began in 2012 due to God’s grace and the support of our donors and volunteers. In 2023, we were blessed to serve over 11,100 individuals from 17 Mississippi counties with food assistance, clothes, baby items, housewares, furniture and appliances, and to add additional space to expand our food pantry. Multiple businesses and organizations volunteered their time and efforts to help with our programs, and several schools hosted important canned food drives to help us feed individuals and families in need. During the summer, area churches focused their Vacation Bible Schools on raising awareness of ERCO, and collected needed funds and food for us. Their results were simply amazing, and we are so grateful for their support! Later in the year, Thanksgiving meals were provided, and close to 70 children received Christmas gifts. 2023 was an incredible year. We thank God for His blessings, and we thank everyone who supported this important work!
We are looking forward to April 20, 2024, when we will host "Love Out Loud" - our annual family-fun day where children enjoy games, activities, bounce houses and face-painting; parents/guardians can enjoy a free event for their children and learn of important resources available to them; and everyone can enjoy a delicious meal. Last year, approximately 1300 people attended.
Our mission at ERCO is to "be doers of the Word and not hearers only" (James 1:22), and to "love because He first loved us" (1 John 4:19). We are personally committed to the teaching in James 2:14-16 and Isaiah 58:7, that calls us to 'share your food with the hungry ... give clothes to those who need them." We put our faith in action by meeting the physical needs of the less fortunate by distributing food, clothing, furniture and other supportive items we have available at no cost to them; and by meeting their spiritual needs through prayers, distribution of Bibles, personal and group evangelism; and by actively showing them unconditional love. We also put our faith in action by serving as a network hub with other organizations to create strategic alliances to share resources that provide for the body, soul and spiritual needs of individuals. We identify needs and work together to meet those needs through our collaborative efforts.
Please keep ERCO in your prayers; come volunteer when possible; and support this ministry through your donations of physical items (clothes, food, housewares, etc.) and finances in order that the important services and programs at ERCO can continue. We pray God will bless our efforts and allow us to continue to serve as His hands and feet throughout 2024.
Ever Reaching Community Outreach is a 501C3 faith-based nonprofit committing whatever we do to the Lord (Proverbs 16:3). We are only able to go and serve those in need in our surrounding communities by the grace of God, the physical support of volunteers, and through donations given to this ministry.
